This policy covers the website at scooptools.com. It does not cover the products themselves, which collect data of their own and are governed separately.

Who we are

ScoopTools is a product of DblScoop, LLC, a Mississippi limited liability company. When this policy says "we" or "us" it means DblScoop, LLC. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

When you fill in a form

Two forms on this site collect information, and both are entirely optional. Nothing here requires you to identify yourself in order to read it.

• The contact form collects your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), which product you are asking about, and your message.
• The volume pricing form collects the same information, plus the number of seats or licences you are asking about.

We use this to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

When you simply visit

The site sets four cookies:

• PHPSESSID is the standard session cookie that keeps the site working as you move between pages.
• anonymous_id is a random identifier. It is not linked to your name or your email address.
• total_page_views and last_visit record how many pages have been viewed and the date of the last visit.

These are set by us, are not passed to anyone else, and do not identify you personally.

Spam protection

Both forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. To do that, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser.

Fonts

This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. That request is made to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We mention it because most websites use Google Fonts and most privacy policies never say so.

Analytics

We do not currently run any analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy at the same time as we make the change, not afterwards.

What we do not collect

We do not take payment details on this website. We do not ask for sensitive information, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. The cookies described above expire on their own, and you can clear them from your browser at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work, and only to the extent each one needs in order to do its job. Those are our web host, Cloudflare for spam protection, Google for fonts, and our email provider for delivering form notifications.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our property, or the safety of others.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Write to the address below and tell us what you would like us to do.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, although it may not remember you as you move between pages.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If the change is a significant one, such as new tracking or new sharing, we will say so plainly rather than quietly revising the text.
